
Developing competence
VTI grows and develops at a fast rhythm. From the employee's point of view when it comes to developing competence in the working life the most important is that the work offers development challenges and the personnel has support for accomplishing the challenges.
As a part of VTI's management system, all employees have annual development discussions with their superiors. The discussions focus on the feedback of the previous year and the objectives for the next year. A development plan for the next year and in the long run is also created. The development may be supported for example by cooperation with an experienced senior, by internal training programs and by external training.
The development of the competences of the new employees starts by VTI's orientation program. The orientation includes both general as well as role specific orientation, which form a unity.
