VTI develops its organization to reflect the redefined strategy
VTI Technologies is developing its organization to more efficiently
meet the needs of growing motion and pressure sensor markets. This
organization development reflects company's redefined strategy, which
aims to seek strong growth also outside automotive industry over the
next few years. As a part of this development company's business unit
that is focusing on the business outside automotive has been named as
Sensing Solutions as of 1 January 2006.
Sensing Solutions acts globally and it consists of the following business lines: Sports & Wellness, Medical and Instruments as well as Terminals. Sensing Solutions' sales is supported by Product Management, which develops products to the customer needs in these business areas.
To carry out the strategy, the following appointments are made in Sensing Solutions:
- Pekka Huttunen, Business Line Director, Terminals
- Harry Lilja, Business Line Director, Medical and Instruments
- Sten Stockmann, Business Line Director, Sports & Wellness, as of 1 February 2006
- Jouni Hänninen, Director, Product Management
Mr Dan Colliander is Executive Vice President of Sensing Solutions.
The name of VTI's another business unit, Automotive Business Unit (ABU), remains the same.
