Accurate Inclinometers

VTI's inclinometers are based on our proven 3D MEMS technology and highly integrated electronics.

The sensing element and the measuring ASIC are assembled in a pre-moulded dual-in-line (DIL) plastic package. All models are RoHS compatible lead free reflow solderable lead free components. They are environmentally protected with silicone gel resulting in excellent performance and reliability in a humid environment and at temperature cycling. The ASIC includes an on-chip EEPROM memory with the calibration coefficients for unit interchangeability.

Inclinometers include enhanced failure detection: digitally activated self-test, calibration memory parity check and continuous connection failure detection. All these features ensure the reliability and accuracy of the measurement results.
